SCNO competition organizers are reminded to please fill in a competition sanction form and forward it to championship@scno.net or fax to 705.752.5977 no later than June 1st.
Please note that there will no longer be any CanSkate events at any SCNO sanctioned competitions. Based on Long Term Athlete Development philosophy, all CanSkate events should be done at the club level. Clubs are encouraged to offer the CanSkate Element Event for their own skaters and do not require a sanction to do so. Please note that clubs are not to invite skaters from other clubs to their CanSkate Element Event.
Also, all Introductory events will be “skate to standard” this year including freeskate, elements and spins.
These changes will also be highlighted in the 2012-2013 version of the Generic Technical Package, which is forthcoming.
